The JeeNode can be used with breadboards in different ways. The smallest configuration is a mini-breadboard, allowing one wire per pin (or 2, just…):

You could also set things up vertically:

The rotated layout lets you switch between diagonally opposite ports, here are ports 1 and 4:

The black and white boards can be swapped without having to redo any wiring:

You can also flip entire sides:

And finally there’s the option of using wire-wrap pins as IC socket to get access to all of the ATmega’s pins:

Although that hardly qualifies as a JeeNode anymore…
